This Flower Mandala Centerpiece is beginner friendly, and allows for the use of several different basic stitches. With the size of the yarn, it works up quickly, and it not as difficult as many other doily-type centerpieces. This project will also need to be blocked, but is not very large, so it could be a good first blocking project.

This project was designed with the purpose of keeping vases from scratching the table beneath in mind. For that reason, it is completed with slightly thicker yarn, and in a neutral color as to not distract from or clash with the flowers themselves.

To complete this project, you will need to know the following stitches: magic circle, sc, hdc, dc, tr, sl st, ch

You will also need the following supplies:
Lily’s Sugar and Cream in Ecru 102018
4.5mm (US 7) crochet hook
Tapestry Needle
Blocking Board
Blocking Pins
