Recommended materials:

  • 220g of fingering weight/ 4ply yarn (100g / 300m / 330yds) for motifs and strap and 180g in different color for lining and drawstrings. Shown: Lithuanian Linen Yarn (YarnStories shop on Etsy), 3 skeins in 104/ Natural Linen and 2 skeins in 502/ Dark Purple (3ply (100g / 600m / 660yds), doubled by combining 2 ends, one from inside and another from outside of each skein.

  • 2.75-3mm crochet hook for the bag, 1.8mm for Romanian Cord drawstring, 10cm/ 4’’ cardboard or plastic canvas winding board for tassels, tapestry needle to weave in ends, hand-sewing needle, matching motifs color sewing thread, 3.8cm/ 1 ½’’x 2 D-rings.

  • Optional: matching lining color 6mm diameter x 18 beads.


  • 37 x 37 x 4cm (14 ½ x 14 ½ x 1 ½)’’, strap is 57cm (22 3/8’’) long stretched.
