Flower Princess shawl
The construction of this lacy shawl is a bit unusual. Upper edge of the shawl is knitted first, then with short rows you move to the center of upper edge and from there you start to work the shawl body down in a half-circle shape.
Shawl requires approx 437-492 yards (400-450m) of Lace weight yarn. It takes a little more than 1 ball of Rowan Fine Lace to knit the shawl with US 6 / 4mm needles.
Pattern includes written instructions as well as charts.
Finished measurements of the shawl: approx 52½” / 133cm wide and 24” / 61cm long at center.
Matching exact gauge is not essential.
Required skills: k, p, yo, m1, k2tog, ssk, p2tog tbl, sl st, sl1, k2tog, psso, slipknot cast-on with a link to YouTube video).
