Notes:
This tawashi is great as a household scrubber and kitchen sponge replacer. It’s easy, works up super quick, and is ideal for last minute gifts or simply brightening up the home. The pattern has a versatile design that lends well to either solid colors or a flower motif.

The tawashi features a nubby texture with a hanging loop and optional hand strap. It is crocheted in two separate pieces, then joined together with a single crochet border.

The pattern features step-by-step photos.

Recommended hook is US G/4.0 mm, but you may choose to go up one size if you have difficulty making the cluster stitches.

There are two different PDFs available for download. The first is the full version with tons of photos and lots of pages, while the other is a “Quick Print” version that is a one page written pattern.
