This top-down triangular shawl was inspired by the colorway of the handspun yarn, handpainted by Spunky Eclectic in the color Flowering Weeds. Mostly plain stockinette stitch is punctuated by bands of flowers of increasing size, set off by purl ridges; the final band of flowers transitions smoothly into a scalloped edging.

The lace pattern is charted, not written out.
