The Flowing Rivers socks feature diagonal bands of contrasting texture, alternating between flowing rivers of stockinette and the highs and lows of twisted rib woodlands. Mirrored patterns for left and right create a striking effect and provide a more interesting knitting experience, which is a welcome antidote for “Second Sock Syndrome”.

The socks are worked from the cuff down with a heel flap and gusset decreases. Directions are identical for both socks, with unique charts for left and right socks creating a mirrored effect.
