This adorable turtle features an awesome patterned shell! This pattern contains a colorwork chart for the shell detail… although he’d still be a cutie if you wanted to eliminate the hexagons (and it’d be an easier project)! Floyd measures 7 inches tall when completed.

To complete this pattern, you will need:

• size H (5 mm) crochet hook
• 5 colors of worsted weight yarn (Ella Rae Classic and Louet Gems are the yarns used in the sample, less than a skein of each color is required): beige, yellow, medium green, light green and red
• two 12mm yellow animal eyes
• polyester stuffing
• tapestry needle
