I love to buy lace yarn. Working it into a project however takes a stronger resolve… Especially silk lace.

This design incorporates a number of my own wishes:

  • use that skein of fine lace;
  • do not cut/break beautiful yarn (only two ends to weave);
  • make the design fluid and flowing for easy styling;
  • use repetitive but contemporary stitches (4-row repeats) which will support both solid and multicolored yarn;
  • make sizing adjustable and design border such that one can keep crocheting until yarn runs out;
  • be able to wear it to work, weddings, funerals, and summer movie nights!

The pattern includes written instructions and hand-drawn charts for the main pattern and first round of border.

I’ll be happy to answer any questions in the Natasha Robarge crochet group.
