This pattern is from Charming Colorwork socks: 25 Delightful Knitting Patterns for Colorful, Comfy Footwear. Released 20th September in America, Canada (Europe and other continents a few weeks later) and available now as a digital ebook worldwide.

These fun Flutterby Butterfly socks embrace the beautiful, bright colors of butterflies (or flutterbys, as my children used to call them!). The butterfly can go through important changes with grace and lightness, something I greatly admire. I wanted to capture these magical creatures with a fun pair of socks that also feature colorful “knit faster” stripes. You will finish these socks quickly as you race to complete each stripe!

Construction notes
Knit from the top down with a ribbed cuff, using three colors, this sock includes a colorwork butterfly pattern section on the leg,
followed by three color stripes that start at the leg and continue down through the foot to the toe. These socks are knit with a ribbed heel flap and gusset.
