This pattern is named for that 4oz handpainted roving that is sat in the back of my stash for ages waiting for the right pattern to come along.. I spun it as a light worsted weight 3 ply and allowed the colours to flow through yarn. It is perfect for those long colour run yarns such as Noro Silk Garden , but would look equally good in a solid colour.

Knitted in the round, this pattern will knit up in a jiffy and is perfect for that last minute gift.
