This lap blanket or sofa throw, inspired by the delicate veining pattern of leaves, is a thoroughly satisfying knit. It features columns of ‘tree of life’ and ‘chevron bud’ motifs, beautifully aligned with the chevron edging. The sample was made from an Aran-weight recycled cotton/acrylic blend, making it machine-washable, hard-wearing and surprisingly warm for snuggling up on those cosy nights in front of the fire. Whilst the original yarn is discontinued, any gauge-weight yarn would work well.
