US 7 - 4.5 mm
US 8 - 5.0 mm
Fair Isle headband: 22" head circumference. Garter and embroidered headbands: 23" head circumference.

Gauge:
Garter Headband--2 st and 10 rows = 1” in garter stitch in the round w/ size 7 needles

Embroidered Headband--4.5 st and 10 rows = 1” in garter stitch in the round w/ size 8 needles

Fair Isle Headband-- 3.75 st and 6.5 rows = 1” in stockinette stitch in the round on size 8 needles
