This interesting rib pattern looks like a brick road and has the fantastic effect of keeping your interest, much like self-striping yarn. The rib leads into a simple lace pattern and before you know it it’s done! A picot bind off adds the finishing touches and it’s ready to wear after a bit of blocking.

This pattern has been thoroughly test knitted, but if you come across any errors let me know and I’ll fix them as soon as possible.

4/17/15: I added an update to the pattern to help with continueing the brick pattern after the set up rows. Counting from the last K2 column helps set up the next rows easily.
