While planning a recent trip to England, a friend and I were pulling together our Must See list of places in London – Buckingham Palace, Tea at the Savoy, the Tower. Then it happened. I came across the creepiest London Experience available.

It was the Jack the Ripper Walking Tour, an evening tour of each of the Ripper’s murder sites in Whitechapel. I could think of nothing more fun than walking in Jack’s shoes around London. Of course, how many lives could have been saved if he’d just taken a stab at knitting instead of stabbing?

This pair of socks is knitted top down in a bright red yarn with slashes of lace back and forth against the leg and the top of the foot. The pattern is not for the faint of heart.
