“Fönstret” (The Window) was designed by Anna-Lisa Mannheimer Lunn or Bohus founder Emma Jacobsson for Bohus Stickning in the early 1940s.

The knitting kit for Fönstret is based on original patterns and models from museum and private collections. The pattern is recreated as pullover/cardigan with full-patterned front, as a hat, and as mittens.

The garment is knitted in a two-strand lambswool yarn from Henrichsen Uldspinderi in Denmark. The lambswool yarn consists of merino wool from New Zealand and a small proportion from Gotland fur sheep, guaranteed mulesing-free.

There are 4 pattern colors, a main color, and a background color for Fönstret. At time three pattern colors are used at the same time on the back of the hand.

The knitting kit contains yarn and knitting instructions for one pair mittens.
