The cardigan consists of three parts crocheted with each other, i.e. two sleeves and the front and back sides, which are knitted in one piece. The collar and the button facings are knitted from picked up stiches.
If you want to knit this cardigan as a girl-cardigan, you only need to work button holes on the right button facing.

You will need: any aran or worsted yarn with the gauge of 18 sts/10 cm in two (or more) colours, 480 – 700 meters, 7/7/8/8 buttons, ca. 15 mm in diameter (I used the “Perlmuttknöpfe” from Buttinette), straight and double pointed (or circular) needles 4,0 mm and 4,5 mm, eventually a hook size 4,0 mm, a dull needle and a green sewing thread.
