Worked in alternating bands of Stockingette and Seed stitch. Pattern forms Seed Stitch bottom and front bands (no joining). Neck band is made by picking up and knitting in seed stitch.

The sweater is worked in one piece to underarm, then split to work across back and two sides of front. The sleeves are worked separately and sewn in.

Closure is sewn-on ribbon with rosettes.
