PATTERN NOTES
• Forbes is a tall hat with a shallow brim and a flat top, designed to be worn tall with a small amount of slouch or tuck the fabric in on itself for a shorter look.
• Yarn is held double throughout – take a length from each end of the wound skein or divide into two separate balls.
• The two different sizes of the Forbes hat are created by following exactly the same pattern but working at different tensions.
