The medallion may be made of Star Crochet Cotton, or “Silkine” Crochet Cotton, in any size suitable for the use. If it is to be used in very coarse linen, then size 40 or 50 cotton should be used. This medallion is very lacy and dainty if made of size 100. Gem Mercerized Crochet Cotton is another suitable choice.
