Forester is a hat which combines leafy forms with cables to create a hat rich in texture and detail, yet which isn’t fussy in wear.

Worked in double knitting or sport weight yarn, this hat is offered in one size to fit most adult heads, but sizing can be altered by using a tighter or looser gauge if desired.

Some of my pattern testers have suggested that if using a silky yarn, going down a needle size and using a tighter gauge is extremely helpful in achieving a good fit. Heavy fingering weight yarns have also been tested succesfully for this pattern and may be a consideration for an alternative yarn choice.
