The Forget-Me-Not Blood-Drop Brooch is quite quick to make. There are just 2 pieces to make and sew together. I think it’s not too complicated a pattern, but have added photos to one set of instructions to help along the way…

It makes a fab little gift or something to help with blood cancer awareness or fundraising for Boodwise: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/LymphomaLassBloodwise

You’ll just need a few metres/yards of each yarn - just a fraction of each ball - for each brooch.

I have used:
ch – chain
ss – slip stitches
dc – double crochet (in USA: sc – single crochet)
tr – treble crochet (in USA: dc – double crochet)
htr - half treble (in USA: hdc - half double crochet)
dtr – double treble crochet (in USA: tr – treble crochet)
trtr - triple treble crochet (in USA: dtr - double treble crochet)

You’ll also need to sew a brooch back (or safety pin) on the back.

Gauge/tension is not critical to this pattern. If your tension is tight you’ll get a slightly smaller brooch. If your tension is relaxed, your brooch will be slightly larger.
