Asymmetrical shawl worked in one color yarn with a picot bind off. Pretty worn around the shoulders with or without shawl pin OR draped in front with ribboned edges at the sides cascading down.

In the epic story Outlander, by Diana Gabaldon, it is blue forget me nots at Craigh na Dun that charm Claire into returning for them and when she does, Claire falls through the stones, finding herself in 1743 Scotland. Perhaps these sweet, little, intoxicating flowers drew her back to where she was meant to be! With Jamie Fraser, of course.

::swirly side represents the movement of Claire’s falling through the stones at Craigh na Dun

::eyelets gracing the top are the dainty forget me not clusters with a Blue Tartan ribbon running through each eyelet

::a frilly bind off adds to the allure of something to be remembered and never forgotten
