Pattern Notes

  • Written instructions are included for chart.
  • The body of the shawl is worked in garter stitch. So you don’t lose your place, you may find it helpful to use a locking stitch marker to mark the right side of the work.
  • On rows starting with BO 4 sts, there is 1 stitch remaining on the right needle after binding off – this counts as the first knit stitch that follows the binding off (i.e. it’s the first stitch of the k3).
  • After the border is worked, one stitch from the body of the shawl remains. This stitch is worked in the bind off of the shawl.
