Fortresse Swartsluys was the old name for Zwartsluis in Overijssel. As early as 1398 was the first mention of the village.
The shield of Zwartsluis is red and white blocked, which returns in this design. Near the village is a lot of water; Het Zwarte Water and Meppeler Diep. The blocks from the shield pattern merge to waves at the other end of the shawl. This rectangle shawl is worn so the open lace pointed edging at the bottom is fully visible. The shade of this lovely silk yarn, 100% Mulberry Silk, gives is a nice shine and makes it drape beautifully.

ERRATA:
In the first version it states in the instructions that the charts are read from left to right. That should be: from right to left, ofcourse.

Deze rechthoekige shawl wordt zo gedragen dat het open kant randje aan de onderkant van de shawl tevoorschijn komt. Het prachtig gekleurde garen van 100% Mulberry Zijde zorgt voor subtiele glans en dat de shawl mooi valt.

ERRATA:
In de eerste versie staat in de instructies dat je de charts van links naar rechts moet lezen. Dat moet natuurlijk zijn: van rechts naar links.
