Fortuity is a reversible, textured winter hat or toque. When knit up I found both sides of the fabric enjoyable. An accidental occurrence with pleasing results. Enjoy!


Skills required: Cast on, knit, purl, knit 2 stitches together, purl 2 stitches together, knitting in the round on circular and double pointed needles.

Gauge:
9 sts and 12 rows = 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch.
10 sts and 12 rows = 4in/10cm in Rounds 5 and 6 of pattern.

Finished Measurements: Approximate brim circumference is 17in (43cm) and will stretch to comfortably fit a 22in (56cm) head circumference. Measures 10in/25cm brim to crown.
