I used worsted-weight yarn and #4 needles to
create a very firm fabric at 5.5 stitches per inch,
making the whole thing about 2.5 inches tall. You
need a sturdy fabric so that this piece will stand
up, but you could use just about any yarn and
needle combination. I only used two colors, but, if
you want to, it could include up to 8.
