This shawl is knit from the top down. Due to the shape, you will find that it will stay on your shoulders without the use of a shawl pin. The zigzag edging is created from the final row of sts of the shawl. This shawl has the same shaping as my Lyon Lacy Shawl, previouls published, but the lace is more intricate.
