The pattern includes written instructions and charts (it is not necessary to read charts) for knitting in the round Easter Eggs with four different designs.

The pattern has two versions (and two files in downloads):
– original (with twisted knit stitches / knit through back loop)
– simplified (don’t use twisted knit stitches)

The Eggs are knitted in the round (use double pointed or circular needles) and shaped with knitting increases and decreases.

They may be knit in any yarn, in order to keep fabric tight enough so that the stuffing won’t show through, use needles smaller than what’s recommended for the yarn.

Egg’s size depends on your yarn, knitting tension and filling density.

Approximate size:
The height is 8 cm (3¼”) and the diameter is 5.5 cm (2⅛”).
Gauge:
30 stitches and 42 rows = 10 cm (Stocking stitch)
Yarn:
per egg: ~20-22 meters (22-24 yards)
of any Sport Weight Yarn
e.g.: Drops Safran (100% Cotton, 160m/50g)
Needles (double pointed or circular):
№2.25 — №2.5, depends on your knitting tension (use needles smaller than recommended for the yarn)

The height is 6.5 cm (2½”) and the diameter is 4.7 cm (1⅞”)
