This hat is flighty and feisty with the attitude that can take you from home to work without the need to compromise or look back. To soften the look, reposition the ears and make the buttonhole eyes slightly bigger – you could choose to work the eyes from another project.

This pattern is easily adapted to make a wolf or a dog. Look through the other patterns in the book to knit the ears of your choice.

Yarn:
2 balls of rust
1 ball of white
1 ball of pink
Short lengths of tapestry wool or scraps of yarn: black; brown.

The main part of the hat is worked with two strands of yarn worked together.

The alpaca fibre in the yarn helps to stop the lower edge from curling.
