Both versions of Foxfield are worked in the round from the bottom up. Switch to double pointed needles when the circumference is too small to fit on the circular needles.

YARN: The Fibre Co. Cumbria (90% wool, 10% mohair; 238 yds/100 gm skein): BOBBLE STITCH: eden valley (11), 1 skein. PURL STITCH: catbells (56), 1 skein.
GAUGE: 22 sts + 28 rnds = 4“ (10 cm) in Body patt on larger needles, after blocking.
NEEDLES: 1 - 16” (40 cm) US 4 (3.5 mm) circular. 1 - 16” (40 cm) US 6 (4 mm) circular and set dpns, or size to obtain gauge.
NOTIONS: Tapestry needle, stitch marker, 1.625” pom pom maker.
SIZE: 17.5” (44.5 cm) brim circumference, unstretched, 8.25” (21 cm) height.
