These fingerless mitts are striped, reversible, and worked in either fingering or worsted weight, with numerous options for the cuffs, hands and tops!

Yarn:
Option 1, Worsted weight: 100 (150, 200, 250) yards in 3-5 different colors
The 5-color mitt sample uses approx. 20-35 yd of each color, depending on size
Option 2, Fingering weight: 200 (250, 300, 350) yards in 3-5 different colors
Instructions are provided for 3, 4 and 5 color versions; of course, you can use as many colors as you like, or stick with just 1!
Please note that your design choices will impact the total amount of each color needed.

Gauge:
Worsted: 20 sts and 28 rnds = 4”/10 cm in st st, blocked
Fingering: 32 sts and 40 rnds = 4”/10 cm in st st, blocked

Needles:
Worsted:
Set of US 6/4 mm DPNs, 2 24”/60 cm circular needles, or 1 long needle for magic loop, or size to obtain gauge
Set of US 7/4.5 mm DPNs, 2 24”/60 cm circular needles, or 1 long needle for magic loop, or size to obtain gauge
Set of US 8/5 mm DPNs, 2 24”/60 cm circular needles, or 1 long needle for magic loop, or 1 size larger than gauge needle

Set of US 1/2.25 mm DPNs, 2 24”/60 cm circular needles, or 1 long needle for magic loop, or size to obtain gauge
