A triangular colour block shawl worked mainly in rectangles.

Construction:
You begin with a triangle. Then you build up the shawl layer by layer with rectangles - like building a log cabin, but much easier.

Finished measurements:
wingspan 190 cm
from top to bottom at deepest point 95 cm

Yarn:
Fingering weight.
The sample was knit using Miss Babs Polydactyl Set “Tintype”, 7 (121 m/38 g) Yummy 2-ply Toes skeins, in colour Obsidian, Field Mouse, Dark Pegasus, Oxidized Silver, Parchment, Oyster, and Muslin, in all 847 m.

Gauge:
23 sts and 33 rows = 10 cm in stocking stitch.
Needle size: 3.5 mm - 2 circular needles, minimum 80 cm (one for knitting and one as a stitch holder).
