This is a quick and straightforward baby blanket, with a knit on lace border. It would work well in an aran, or light bulky weight yarn, and looks particular good when knit up in a single ply, for extra smooshiness.

It can easily be sized up to make a good sized sofa blanket. (Which I plan to do at some point.)
