This interesting bib scarf or shawl which is knit from the top down, has a narrow deep-v shape and opposing stitch segments on either side of the shawl’s spine. It also has a row of bobbles which represent the bolts on either side of Frankenstein’s neck. ;)
Two skeins of Brooklyn Tweed Loft yarn in the colorways Tent and Cast Iron were used to make the scarf in the photos. You’ll also have quite a bit of yarn left over for another project. I really like the look of contrasting colors for this shawl but you can of course make it in a solid one if you prefer.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY:
STITCHES AND TECHNIQUES YOU NEED TO KNOW:
You will need to know how to knit (k) and purl (p) stitches, knit two stitches together (k2tog) and do yarn overs (yo) in order to complete this piece.
The finished kerchief measures approximately 14” in height at the center spine and 17” from the scarf’s top edge to its two “wings.”
