I love Italian coffee, can’t you tell? In fact, one of the most vivid memories I have from my trips to Italy is the taste and aroma of the fine Italian coffee. Freddo Macchiato is my favorite “summer” coffee and the yarn I used for this project does remind me of it.
Freddo = cool as it should be, you don’t want to get too hot knitting under the sun, but still need your shawl to be warm enough to protect you from the summer breeze.
Macchiato = spotted just like the yarn that Sara Sol created for this shawl, need I say more?

This pattern is supposed to offer you some cool, relaxing (and I emphasize the relaxing part) knitting under the sun (or not) and it is the absolute beginner friendly pattern in many ways: all you need to be familiar with is knit, purl, yo , ssk and k2tog.
This won’t prevent the veterans from enjoying some “mindless knitting” especially if they like to take their projects outdoors! I did my best to create stitch patterns easy to memorize, yet interesting enough to knit!
The fully tech edited and tested pattern will be released in 3 parts:

  • May 15
  • May 22
  • May 29
