This is a lovely pattern for an outdoor wear all in one, it has a button up front which make putting on and off so easy, just pop babies legs in and then lay them down to put their arms in.
It is done in a Fairisle Pattern, with each block a separate chart, so you can mix and match how you place them and how many you do, of course you could just leave the whole thing plain.
I knitted this one using Sirdar No1 in Pure Scarlet 214, and Fog Grey 213, this yarn comes in 100g balls and is a delight to knit with, giving the feel of a very soft baby cotton, but its actually 50% Acrylic 50% Nylon, very easy to wash and dry. I’m sure there are many yarns out there that would work just as well.
I gave it a nice roomy hood just in case its extra chilly so you can pop a snug hat underneath.
It has a slight hint at Christmas but not overly so, so it can be worn right through the winter
The size range with take you through those early days out for a stroll in the buggy, to back packing, to those first steps with a pair of boots
I hope you enjoy
