Meet Frederick the Frog, he’s a fast and easy crocheted toy that can be finished in a day.
Side note:
Fred was inspired by the Design Your Own Monster Course on Craftsy and was originally designed to be donated to a local organization to help raise funds for student bursaries.

Skill level: advanced beginner

Skills needed:
-crochet in the round
-increase
-decrease
-whip-stitch to attach body parts to body
-crocheted i-cord

Materials needed:
-any weight yarn (I used KnitPicks comfy worsted)
-40 yards (36.6 metres) for main colour
-8 yards (7.3 metres) for eyes
-approximately 20 yards (18.3 metres) for i-cord legs you may need less or more depending on how long you make the legs
-crochet hook (the recommended size or one to two sizes smaller)
-polyfil fibre
-tapestry needle
-plastic craft eyes (optional)
