This cardigan from Chloé Elizabeth Birch has a cropped shape and balloon sleeves, and combines sections of garter stitch, stocking stitch and garter rib.

The left front and back are decorated with colourful garter welts, one of which features knitted loops, while the other is finished with tassels. Columns of cross stitches are then embroidered onto the knitted fabric.

Chloé has used Debbie Bliss’s soft, plump Cashmerino Aran yarn for her design.
