This striking, elegant little baby capelet is so special. It keeps baby warm in style. A button at the neckline makes dressing baby easy and keeps baby comfortable. The best part, this capelet is worked in one fast, easy piece, and only requires two short seams after. The pattern was created by a knitwear designer in Lyon, France.

The pattern will result in a sweater size newborn to approximately 3 months. You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit stitches, yarn over, knit two stitches together, cast off, seam the finished work and knit in ends of the finished work – skill level beginner. A sweater, for an average skilled knitter, should take approximately four hours to complete.

Sample was knit holding Yarn Bee Featherwisp in Sassy and Baby Bee Hushabye Solid in Boo Pink together.

Pattern may not be reproduced without permission of designer. Finished knits made from Madame Segneri designs are for personal use only.

A special thank you to little model, Sara, and her kind parents.
