French Canyon is a classic vest, fitted, with a slight flare below the waist. Cables and a pretty stitch pattern on front and back are flanked by brioche waffle rib side panels that naturally create a flattering shirt-tail shaping above the hips.

1-2 inches of ease recommended. Vest shown is size 38 worn on a 36” bust, and was knitted in Angelic clove.

Construction: Vest is worked from the bottom in one piece to underarms, with bodice fronts and back worked separately. Shoulders are shaped with short rows and joined using 3-needle bind off. Attached I-cord trims fronts, neckline and armholes.

Skills used: Cables, increases, decreases, attached I-cord trim.
