This beautiful little baby cardigan is knit in thick garter stitch to keep your baby toasty. The best part, it is knit in one piece! Based on a classic French baby cardigan, the pattern was created by a knitwear designer from Lyon, France.

You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit stitches, knit two stitches together, knit in the front and back of a stitch to make another stitch, yarn over, cast off, seam work, and knit in ends of the finished work - skill level beginner/intermediate. A cardigan, for an average skilled knitter, should take approximately sixteen hours to complete.
