I wanted a cardigan that was all warm, sturdy practicality from the front. This cardigan has pockets, a shawl collar, useful buttons and is knit with Peacefleece which is an old
fashioned wool/mohair blend produced here in Maine. But I also wanted style and a certain flirtatiousness from the back -- hence the pleats and the set in waist band which underscore the Girl part of the title. Suggestions are given to easily adjust the back configurations, raising or lowering the waistband, widening or narrowing the upper or lower back, in order to flatter your -- ahem -- assets.
