SUMMARY: This woman’s Frenchie cardigan has waistline fitting and is hip-length with long, cap-shoulder sleeves, a shawl-neck collar, pockets and a tie belt. The overall pattern is stocking stitch. The hemline, front bands and pocket edges are worked in garter stitch. Both the collar and sleeve cuffs feature a bobble-stitch pattern and are worked as separate pieces in the finishing steps and then attached to the garment with slip stitches. The tie belt is finished with tassles.
