This sleeveless top is perfect for the summer as a solo garment when it is made of cotton/linen but can also be made with wool - then it is an ideal additional layer on cold autumn/winter days. The tie at the front adds a boho character to the tank. The vest is made seamless from the bottom up and the trim is done at the same time so it’s a quick and satisfying knit.

The vest is worked seamlessly from the bottom up in garter stitch. Two front halves and back are divided at armholes and shaped separately then joined at the shoulders using three needle bind off. The I-cord edge and buttonholes are worked on throughout the project at the same time. At the end, an I-cord strap is worked which then joins the two front halves together.
