The shawlette/scarf is knitted sideways from end to end in one piece, including border and edging.

Sample shawlette size 67” (170 cm) wingspan, 16” (40 cm) deep after blocking.
Average gauge: 17 sts x 27 rows in Stockinette st. after blocking. But gauge is not crucial for this project.

Fingering and lace weight yarns are suitable for the pattern.

Pattern notes:
Pattern is charted only.
In WS rows, work double yo as k1, p1.

Shawlette is easily customizable by adding or taking away pattern repeats.
To make shawlette longer, repeat Chart C and Chart E more times. To make shawlette wider, repeat Chart B and Chart F and repeat Chart C and Chart E less times.
