Frost is a Fingering (4ply) shawl that features stripes of garter stitch and eyelets interspaced with rows of simple lace diamonds. The triangle shape is knit sideways and the simple repetition of the pattern makes it a relaxing knit with enough interest to keep you engaged for a surprisingly fast finish.

This pattern includes written instructions, charts, and a tick-sheet.

Yarn
MC (variegated): 100g Fingering (4ply) weight yarn (sample used 89g Great Southern Yarn Elizabeth Macarthur Merino Singles which is 410m/448y per 100g/3.53oz col. View from the garden, Mosman).
CC (solid): 100g Fingering (4ply) weight yarn (sample used 87g Great Southern Yarn Elizabeth Macarthur Merino Singles which is 410m/448y per 100g/3.53oz col. Clarice Beckett).

23 sts and 36 rows per 10cm (4”) square over garter stitch after blocking.
