Little People in mittens + fresh snow = snowman. (Add hot cocoa when finished.) Quick enough to knit for all the Littles in your life. Fitting tips help you choose the correct size to make.

What if there was a collection of patterns designed especially for people who wish to sell their knits for charity or for profit? What if they were quick to knit, well-fitting in a multitude of sizes, and simple to customize?

That collection exists, and this is one of the patterns from it.

This pattern, and every single pattern in the collection, “Super-Fast Winter Basics”, comes with full permission to sell items knit from it.

These mittens are worked in the round from wrist to fingertip. Following the cuff at the wrist, a thumb gusset is worked; thumb stitches are placed on a holder and the thumb is completed after the rest of the mitten is worked. Decreases form the shaping in the fingertip area and the top of the mitten is Kitchener stitched closed. Use a stretchy cast on of choice, or learn the Old Norwegian Cast On with included written directions, or get help from the video tutorial at: https://youtu.be/bhKfr38OoFM

A heart-felt thank-you to my sweet test-knitters, including: Janet Ames, Lynn Bjorkman, Valoree Dowell, Terri Houle, and also to those who wish to remain anonymous.
