This pattern is written in 2 sizes. The above information is for the smaller size (17-19 inch circumference.) The hat is knit in the round, using the yarn doubled throughout. So, you could substitute Lamb’s Pride Bulky, or another bulky if you wanted to. The holly leaves are created after knitting a square and felting it in the washing machine. The berries are small, red jingle bells that can be found at most big box craft stores. The nose is a triangle of felt whipstitched on, and the eyes and mouth are small black, coal-like buttons. When worn, the black hat sits on top of the head! I can’t tell you what fun this was to design leading up to the holiday season!
