This is a winter weight cowl crocheted for both warmth and looks. The changing colours maintain interest while completing a relatively simple pattern. It is crocheted in Aran/worsted weight yarn so is finished quickly but still looks effective.

It is an easy pattern with the most difficult part being the spike stitch.
It is very handy to provide warmth around your neck without having to worry about it falling off.

It uses only 160yds/120mts of aran/worsted weight yarn in three colours, so about 50 - 60yds of each. This makes it ideal to use up stash yarn.

Frozen Flakes has been tested by the wonderful testers in the Happy Hookers Hangout.

This pattern has been tech edited by the wonderful (and patient) boricuacrochet who can be found here on Ravelry if you are in need of a tech editor.
