I wanted to make a bunny hat with ears that will stand better then most regular bunny ears I had tried. These are a fun new look and stand great. They also are fun made into a hat for Valentine’s Day.

Materials and Details
Yarn: Can be made furry or regular.

Worsted weight dark brown, lime green, pink; Novelty fur, matching worsted weight; handspun yarn or Super Bulky for bow and bottom of furry wiggles; Super Bulky Orange
Dark brown “girl” sample: I Love This Yarn Coffee, Red Heart Perfect Pink, Ilash Designs Superwash Merino Pink Winks (see end of pattern for source information)
Dark brown “boy” sample: I Love This Yarn Coffee, I Love This Yarn Limelight, Lion Brand Hometown USA Syracuse Orange (carrot), Ilash Designs Superwash Merino Pink Winks (carrot top)

Furry sample: Needle Crafters Plush Fur Beige (Lion Brand Homespun or , Red Heart Buff, worsted weight white, Ilash Designs Superwash Merino Pink Winks for bottom band and flower

Crochet Hooks: H, I, K

Miscellaneous: yarn needle, button for flower (optional), 1” ribbon for girl version, long pipe cleaners similar in color (3 per hat)

Gauge: 4” = 13hdc and 9 rounds

Sizes: newborn - adult
